Countryside Garden Cottage, dog & family friendly

A rustic and charming large two bedroom bungalow. Originally a 19th century rag stone gardeners cottage, the building was extended in the 1970s. It’s got a wonderful large private garden and it’s on the doorstep of some truly wonderful walks and pubs. You’ll be welcomed by a small hamper of useful goodies and we can help make recommendations of local amenities. You’ll have the cottage entirely to yourself. It has a hall, a large sitting room / dining room, a large kitchen, a bathroom with shower head and also a toilet. There are two double bedrooms. One with a king size bed and a cot (should you need it) and one with a king size bed and a bunk bed (suitable for three children). In the sitting room/dining room there is a TV (terrestrial), sofas enough for 6 and a dining table for 6 people. You’ve got parking enough for two cars (off-road) and then you enter the garden through a picket gate and up a gravel pathway to the front door. The garden surrounds the cottage but out the back, there is a patio area leading from the sitting room/dining room where there is garden furniture and a BBQ We do the check in and then can be available via phone for any questions. We live very close by if needed. We imagine most guests won’t really want to interact with us too much as it’s all about privacy and your holiday but we are around if wanted. Lots of walks, nice views, charming pubs. Driving will be most useful. There are local taxi services which we can give you the details of but Uber certainly won’t work around here! The main city nearby is Maidstone. This is a rustic countryside cottage. If you’re after a boutique luxury stay, then this isn’t going to be the place for you.
