The Byre Holiday Cottage is situated on the edge of the village of Draycott and adjacent to the owners own home It is a detached, single storey building dating back to c1780. The property has been fully refurbished. It is very well equipped and maintained to a high standard. It provides spacious and contemporary living accommodation whilst still retaining its original character. The Byre is ideal for couples; it has a large double bedroom with a king size bed and a cot or fold-up bed can also be provided, if required. The accommodation includes a modern bathroom with bath and shower over and a fully fitted kitchen/dining area with built in gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dish washer. The kitchen/dining room opens on to the sitting room with wood burner, flat screen television, DVD player and Hi Fi system. French doors lead onto the patio with views across the garden and countryside beyond. Draycott is ideally situated for walking, cycling and visiting the many local attractions. There is a pub and a Post Office/General Store in the village and another pub half a mile away in Rodney Stoke. With gas fired central heating throughout, The Byre is warm and cosy and ideal for a holiday at any time of the year.
