The Gem of Wheelchair Accessible Accommodation

This room is recently renovated and will suit a couple (+child on request) for short to medium stays. The spacious room has r/c ceiling fan & light, Queen bed, 2 seater lounge, 2 seater table, 32" wall TV, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster & kettle, tea, coffee, sweeteners and milk. The ensuite is fully accessible and has a ceiling mounted light/heater/fan. The shower and sink hardware are accessible compliant. A shower bench is available on request. There are grab rails throughout. Normal access is via the front door but for wheelchairs access is via the garage right next to it, as there is no step. Included in the en-suite is a 3.5 kg Bosch stackable washing machine and dryer. The path to the pool is unfortunately not suitable for disabled access. For the able bodied, there is a pool and two acres of bushland backing on to a reserve. If you feel like cooling off or relaxing, included is the use of the swimming pool and deck area. There are pool lights, so it is available after dark as long as you respect our neighbours where noise is concerned. You are welcome to be as reclusive as you want. We will welcome you, and give you the access clicker or key for the front entry, show you where everything is and then leave you alone. If you need us, sing out. Cereal, bread and fruit are supplied for breakfast and will be left in the room. Milk will be in the fridge. (Soy/Oat/Rice/Coconut milk are available on request) Close to Gold Coast theme parks. Many shops, Cafes and restaurants are all within 5km. Just a short drive. We are 4km from Exit 54 (Dreamworld Exit) on the M1 for those wishing to go north to Brisbane and 5 km to Exit 57 (Hope Island Road) for those heading south. Should you prefer public transport, Coomera Station is 5 km away with trains going to Brisbane Airport and south to Southport.
