Camping Pod 1, Loch & Mountain View - Dalavich

Cosy camping pod overlooking Loch Awe with mountain views and ability to fish from shoreline. A total of 6 dog friendly pods are located adjacent to lochawe in the village of Dalavich. Pod 1 has 2 single beds. The village has a shop, licensed cafe & bar (seasonal opening) kids play area, boat and bike hire. Guests should bring everything as if they were camping except the tent, microwave, fridge and kettle, there are communal public toilets with hot water and an outside tap for drinking water. Located next to Loch Awe with ability to fish from shore with a permit Guests have full access to the pod with decked area and also the loch shore in front of the pod site including the picnic benches and communal fire pit. There is free onsite parking and the village shop, post office and licensed cafe with outside heated seating area is only a minute walk away. In the village you will find a licensed cafe, shop and post office (seasonal opening applies). There is miles and miles of forest walks and cycle paths. Loch Awe has many wee islands to explore including Innis Chonnel, the original seat of the clan Campbell. You can hire a boat and explore the ruins of their 14th century castle. If you like to fish, Loch Awe holds many records including pike. Permit fishing only. Buy permit from Loch Awe Improvement Association. Dalavich is the perfect place to unwind and relax. We The best way to get around the area is on foot or with a bike to experience the wonderful forest walks such as the Avich Trail. A trip to Oban by car takes about 50 minutes The pod has, beds, midge screen, microwave, fridge and a kettle, guests need to bring everything they would as if they were camping. There is a shop with a licensed cafe and outside heated seating area and post office, there is also a local local bar, all have seasonal seasonal opening. Bike and boat hire are available nearby.
