Wallabies Rest

Expect to be charmed with the serenity of this location and to experience a renewed connection with nature – an abundance of birds and wallabies will be your new neighbours and morning visitors. Our family home is tucked away in a lush, peaceful area with an immersive natural outlook. All while being centrally located close to public transport, restaurants, shopping centres and a selection of beautiful beaches. We are a young family with two young children and this house is ideal for families with kids. Our yard is fully fenced and pet-friendly, however we don't allow pets in the house. Pets may be considered on request. There is plenty of outside undercover space. -Bright kitchen - spacious and inviting + overlooking the lush backyard The main bedroom has a king size bed and you will enjoy waking up to the sounds of birds and nature. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and beautiful green outlook to lush trees. You will also be greeted by the sound of birds in the morning! Third bedroom has a kids single loft bed. This is a large bedroom and could easily accommodate a blow up mattress for additional kids (no additional charge for extra kids, however please let us know on your booking request) Fourth bedroom has a baby cot and change table. There are 2 high chairs also available. The kids toy room is stocked with a range of baby to school age kid toys. The main bathroom is modern with a bath and rainwater shower head. There is also a separate toilet. Outside you will enjoy the covered, timber al fresco with a 6 seater outdoor table and chairs, BBQ, outdoor fridge and coffee machine. Perfect for relaxing while watching the kids in the sparkling in-ground pool (saltwater + heated!) Tiered and fenced rear gardens, with kidsplay equipment and chicken coop. Split system air conditioning and ceiling fans in all bedrooms and. The internal laundry has a washing machine and dryer. This is the main house on the property and there is a self contained 2 bedroom unit below. The unit has its own separate and secure entrance. The driveway is a shared space. If you would like to book both properties together to accommodate a larger group, please send us a message and we will check availability for you. The garage and downstairs storage area will not be accessable to guests We will most likely be away during your stay, or we may be staying in the below unit. However we will be available by phone and message if you need anything. We are located in beautiful bush surroundings, at the end of a private driveway with 11 other properties. The driveway is safe for older kids to ride bikes, scooters, skateboard etc. Our property is easily accesed with your own transportation, the closest bus stop is about 1km away, which can also take you to the nearest train station We are located in a beautiful bush setting which comes with an array of wildlife. Possum's love to roam around at night, often along our balcony, making a bit of noise. Wallabies are also frequently seen during dusk and dawn and even if you don't see them you'll know they have been around by their droppings left on the driveway! Whilst they are not a regular occurrence, snakes have been spotted around and require common sense and sensible behavior. We do also get leeches after rainy period. They dont cause any issues, just a nuisance. If you find one on you, sprinkle it with salt and it'll drop of straight away. It's also important to check your shoes for spiders, especially if they have been left outside. All this is to say we've never had an issue here, but the wildlife requires a bit of caution.
