The newly completed 2 bedroom guest suite is located on the bottom level of the property with separate entry and fully self-contained. It sleeps four, Port-a-cot is available upon request The kitchen is equipped with a full-size fridge with top freezer, oven, stove, dishwasher, dining table with stools, plus a toaster, microwave, and kettle. Kitchen basics including salt, pepper, oil, tea, coffee, sugar are available for your convenience. There is also a washing machine. There is no dryer, however, a small drying rack is provided you can place in the courtyard to dry clothes. Alternatively, down the road, there is a dry cleaner or a coin-operated laundromat just 3 mins drive. There are two separate bedrooms, both with comfy double beds. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. All linen and fluffy white towels are provided. We are family friendly and children are always welcome, at no additional cost. The lounge area has a wall-mounted flat-screen TV. Pay channels Netflix, Disney Plus, Stan, Prime as well as WiFi are included. Just outside the front door is a bamboo screened courtyard. The glass door and windows look out to beautiful trees and refreshing views of the national park. Located in a private acreage estate and backing on to a national park, you are surrounded by green trees and will hear wild birds singing. Wallabies, kookaburras, possums, native birds frequent the leafy green area. You will have your own private space. We live in the main house above unless travelling and are friendly but also prefer low interaction with guests and respect your privacy. The property is located on a private estate that is like a separate suburb bordering the national park. There are only a few acreage properties in the estate and the ecosystem is tranquil and green. The location is perfectly central to everything... rural charm on the fringe of the city... - 5 mins to the heart of Gosford city - 5 mins to Gosford laundromat - 15 mins to multiple beaches - 5 mins to Coles, Woolworths, Aldi supermarkets - 5 mins to Gosford Hospitals - 5 mins to an abundance of new local cafes, restaurants, craft breweries, stores for you to explore - 10 mins to Strickland Forrest bushwalking - 10 mins to freeway - 7 mins to train station - 7 mins Gosford waterfront and pools - 5 mins Central Coast Stadium - 5 mins Gosford Racecourse - 5 mins Gosford Golf Club Street parking or driveway parking. As it is a quiet cul-de-sac - there isn't great public transport from the house. Closest bus stop is 1km away. Train station is a 7 min drive and uber is available from the house to take you where you want to go. We live in the main house upstairs from the Airbnb with our young children who you will hear from time to time. Our friendly groodle who loves to keep an eye on things from the front balcony offers cheerful greetings. Although she is unable to access the down stairs area of the property where the Airbnb is located. There are also possums, an abundance of birds, wallabies and wildlife in general. You may hear the possums at night and certainly notice the wallabies have been by each morning by their droppings left behind! Particularly in the warmer months, it's important to note that the wildlife can include snakes and spiders and common sense is needed around checking any shoes left outside.
