Casa Junto Al Lago

Casa Junto Al Lago is the name of our vacation house. It means, house by the lake, true to its name it was situated in the middle of the Lumot Lake. It is located in the perfect highlands of Cavinti, Laguna. An impressive place of relaxation that exhibits the finest nature can offer. It will truly give you and your family or friends an invigorating vacation beyond your expectation. It is nearby the famous Cavinti Falls, Japanese Garden and other high end resorts. It's our decision to make our Casa retain its simplicity and rural feel. As you arrived in our place, you will immediately feel the "provincial like ambiance." Our kubo has two rooms, double walled by a native sleeping mat, called, "banig", our dining hall and the comfort room outside were made of bamboo and anahaw. The island has no electricity, but we have a generator and lights will start at 6pm till midnight. The water in the island is not potable, it is only good for washing and bathing. So guest should bring their own drinking water. Guests are allowed to make use of the entire house and roam the lawn. Hammocks were scattered around the area so all the guests can enjoy sitting, sleeping or reading their favorite novels. Some lounging chairs were also place, overlooking the lake. Our open kitchen is complete with utensils from pots, pans and dinner wares. We also have a stove that guests can use to whip up their cooking skills! Be extra careful though, any item found damage and lost will be charge! I am not a local of cavinti, so basically, i will not be around. But guests can give me a call. Though, I will not be around, our caretaker will attend to your needs and inquiries. But our caretaker will not stay the whole day, this is to give our guests an ample time to bond with their families privately and at their own phase, so she will just welcome you on your arrival and just make sure that everything is clean and in place. Rest assured, though, that you can reach her when the need arises. Our place has this lovable pristine feel that forces you to ease and loosen up. Just being here allows you to drop all the negatives in your life. Our island may not be as large as you imagine it to be, but here still a lot of spaces for you to roam around. Guests can reach our place either via public transportation or via private transportation. Via Public Transportation: From Cubao or Buendia, you can choose from among JAC, JAM or DLTB buses. Board a bus going to Sta. Cruz, Laguna. Alight at the last bus stop. Go to the jeepney terminal beside Sta. Cruz Public market or hire a tricycle for 10/pax going to Cavinti proper. Approximately, 25/pax. Hire a tricycle going to Lumot Port. From there, our boatman will fetch you going to our Casa. Via private transportation: Pass thru SLEX. Take the Calamba exit. Pass thru Calamba, Los Banos, Pila, Sta. Cruz and Pagsanjan. Left turn, upon reaching the plaza of Pagsanjan (landmark is their church) go all the way up to Lumot Port. Please ensure to equip yourselves with a map or download WAZE prior to your travel. If you are not familiar with the municipalities that i mentioned. Also, take extra precaution in driving because the roads are really curvy. Guests in excess of ten will be charge. We also ask for 1k maintenance/cleaning fee payable to our caretaker as soon as your arrival. Boat transfer which cost 1k is charge to the guest to be paid directly to our boatman. Parking fee of 100 for the entire duration of your stay is collected in the barangay of Lumot Port as you depart. Extra charge per hour when the guest requested for extended usage of our generator.
