Enjoy easy access to popular shops and restaurants from this charming place to stay. The Landmark Inn is a historic hotel planted right in the heart of Fairfield, Iowa. Recently acquired by Johnson Real Estate, the Landmark Inn has been renovated to include long-term apartments and short-term hotel rooms and suites. Just footsteps from many restaurants, art galleries, coffee shops, and businesses, the Landmark Inn is the perfect location for any guest wishing to experience the Fairfield Vibe. Each of our rooms is equipped with a fold-down laptop workstation, minifridge, microwave, coffee maker, Direct TV service, and Fiber Internet Wifi access. We are not active at the hotel 24/7, but we have a weekday manager usually nearby and available by the main phone number, between 9 AM - 5 PM Monday through Friday. When you enter the Landmark, our office is located at the end of the hall to the left, door on your right. We also have a Resident Manager available on Evenings/Weekends, whose number is provided to all confirmed guests for any urgent issues that may arise. We want to make sure that our guests are comfortable and enjoy their time here, so please let us know if something comes up and we will assist in any way we can. Since we are in the heart of downtown Fairfield, there's plenty to see and do! Definitely take the time to stroll around Town Square and check out the different and unique shops, cafes, restaurants, bars. Fairfield does not offer public transportation but there are a few people that offer Uber or Lyft in town if you need assistance to get around. Guest have access to the laundry facility in the building which is coin-operated, so if your stay is longer and you wish to wash any of your belongings, please feel free to use the laundry room located on the first floor just past the office door. Laundry room hours are 9:30 AM-9:30 PM. Upstairs at the top of the landing is a sitting area and book exchange where both tenants and guests can sit and mingle, and we encourage our tenants and guests to do so. There is also a cafe, Copper Moon Cafe, located in the building that guests and locals love to frequent.
