The Old Stables is a self-contained unit in a private courtyard detached from the main house in Tadcaster, N. Yorkshire. Tadcaster is a lovely old brewery town, 10 miles S. West of York and 12 miles N. East of Leeds. The Old Stables is located a short 5 minute walk from the town centre which offers a range of fantastic pubs, restaurants and leisure facilities. There is a frequent and reliable bus service into York and Leeds located a stones throw from the property. Free parking available. The Old Stables is a fully self-contained, private dwelling with access through a shared gate. The open plan kitchen/living area opens up onto a balcony over looking the garden. (The garden is private to the main house) The property has 2 bedrooms which are on the ground floor- the master space offers a comfortable double bed with the second bedroom consisting of a small double bed and 1 single, perfect for a small family or group of 4 adults. On the same floor there is 1 master bathroom with bath, shower and WC. The open plan living room which is on the 1st floor has 2 large sofas, dining table, bar leaner and fully fitted kitchen including freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine and a microwave. Free WIFI and LED flat screen TV. Coffee, tea, milk and kitchen appliances included. The use of a washing machine is available which is located under the stairs. The main house has 3 excitable, but very friendly springer spaniels that may be at times in the shared courtyard when we are in the main property. As lifetime locals to Tadcaster & York we are happy to offer up any advise for those looking to explore the surrounding areas. Tadcaster is a unique market town boasting a range of delicious cafes, restaurant and bars right on the doorstep. Ideally located half way between York and Leeds on the A64, The Old Stables gives you easy access to explore both wonderful cities at ease. Frequent and direct bus service to both York and Leeds located 10m from the entrance of the property. Taxis to the property are £20 - £30 from both the centre of York & Leeds.
