Home Mosaic Gallery

Our place is a home - gallery of mosaics in a tipical italian and old court. You can come and live close and in contact with this ancient art. We are in a little village close to the Lake Maggiore. My name is Arend, I'm a mosaic artist with a particular idea about living with art. I bring art and living together under the same roof. This idea is what I call "Home Gallery", which is opened to artists, and travellers. So, if you would like to join to a more creative side of living than please come for a visit. Here, in the Guest House, we have 3 rooms. Two are a big room with a queens size bed suitable for a couple and has an extra bed. Both of two rooms has a balcony overlooking the main courtyard and the garden. The other room have a bunk bed with two single bed. Here, in the house, we have two shared bathrooms with 2 showers. We have a lovely garden for our guests to sit, relax. There is also an opportunity to use and visit the mosaic atelier. The house is located in a court of the 17th century in Brenta (VA), only 33 km far from Lugano, 75 km far from Milan and only 5 km far from the beautiful Lake Maggiore. The nearest train station is Cittiglio on the line Milano Cadorna - Laveno Mombello and is only 2 km far. Otherwise the train station Laveno of the line Bellinzona (CH) - Malpensa airport. Also if you need help from the trainstation getting here to the main house, please feel free to ask. It would be our pleasure. We live on the top of the house and we can help you if you need something. We rent different bikes and you can go to lake with the bike path. We can also organize for you a tour by canoa on the beautiful lake Maggiore or if it's rain you can try the art of mosaic in our atelir.
