A 5-minute walk to Hastings On Hudson Metro North station (31-min fast train to Grand Central) and right next to the Old Croton Aquaduct for scenic walks. This apartment is located in a private house with views of the Hudson River, a landscaped garden and patio, and parking on the Old Croton Aquaduct – walking distance from a variety of restaurants, a supermarket and shops. A new renovation, the apartment features hardwood floors, central air & heating, separate bedroom and laundry facilities. The apartment is brilliantly located to make the most of the town, the Hudson and the Old Croton Aquaduct. Guests will have access to a private back garden with patio seating for dining outside. We live at the top of the house (It's a 3-family home) and are usually available to answer any questions or help in any way. We have our own terrace so the garden is for use by our guests. Hastings On Hudson is the closest river town from Manhattan, just north of Yonkers. As such, it's quickly accessible and yet feels a million miles from the city. It is an artistic and eclectic community with inviting restaurants and pubs, and makes for a very welcome retreat from urban life. The apartment is 5 minutes' walk from Hastings On Hudson Metro North station, and a bus service runs along the river as well.
