Called the Fairy House with its dreamy atmosphere, it is set in a convenient area for nearby services and facilities and close to several fine locations. “ The Fairy House”, this is what some people call LILLIPUT; other definitions refer to the world of fairy tales. The house has been refurbished in a very charming way to preserve past time atmosphere and to welcome its guests to be pampered. Though characteristic, it is nevertheless simple and people without need of particularly large rooms will love it for its cosy comfort. Its bedrooms can be lived as comfortable sitting rooms thanks to their sofa-bed, designed to be suitable even for long periods of stay. You can have breakfast in your bedroom, in the garden or in the near confectionary. We will be happy to share our garden with our guests. We would like to treasure a memory of our guests. A visitors’ book will be available for those who would like to leave messages, opinions, suggestions. Your pictures will be welcome as well and they will build up Lilliput’s Guest History. Located in a suitable area with several facilities in the neighborhood (hospitals, railway stations, University and town centre), our B&B is easily reachable by railway ( both railway stations are a five-minute-walk and we are only seven minutes on foot from the town centre) and by motorway (750 mt). Lake Varese is only 7 Km. away and Sacro Monte, and the National Park Campo dei Fiori are only 5 km. (you will go from 368mt. up to (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) mt. in a few minutes by car, by bus or funicolar). Malpensa is the closest airport, 20 minutes by taxi, and it is well linked to the railway network (Malpensa Express Train). In Lilliput’s vicinity you will find any shop you may need ( cafes, tobacconist, confectioner’s, newsagent, supermarkets, shopping mall …) together with the church, the bank, the chemist’s, the park… Villa Augusta park is only 500 mt. away and this will be the ideal choice to relax and stretch your legs in the nature. The market square with its colorful stalls is a short walk and you can get to the railway station with a 200- mt-walk. Just round the corner, there is a Trattoria ( typical Italian restaurant) where you can enjoy good food. Varese is located at the foot of the Alps among the hills and its seven lakes (Lake Maggiore, Lake Lugano, Lake Varese; the latter together with other six minor lakes ( Lake Comabbio, Lake Monate, Lake Delio, Lake Ganna, Lake Ghirla and Lake Biandronno ) form the group of the SETTE LAGHI VARESINI (seven lakes of the Varese area). There are many villages and small towns on the lake sides and each of them has its own unique features and they are really worth visiting. Natural oasis, cultural and historic places complete the range of tourist opportunities. You can reach Milan-RHO trade fair (EXPO) in about 35 minutes by car or by direct trains. Among the interesting places to be seen in the area we can highlight the towns of Como, Lecco, Locarno (the Swiss border is very close) and Milan, of course, each of them well linked by railway service. We have a love of animals but there are already two permanent guests : one dog and a cat; therefore, though reluctantly, we cannot host any other. Bedrooms are equipped with comfortable double sofa-beds. One room is equipped also with a single sofa-bed. Two rooms are on the ground floor and have shared bathroom and kitchen. The attic (a whole flat ideal for a family or for two couple of friends) has a double bedroom and there is a double sofa-bed in the sitting room. The kitchen can be used for breakfast and ready meals. A laundry service is also available on request (extra charge applies).
