Palmerston is a well-loves suburb, close to schools and shops. We are in a quiet street away from the main roads. We are only a 15min drive to the city centre or 5 minutes to Gungahlin. Palmerston was named in honour of George Thomas Palm(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)). George Palmer was one of the first three landholders in the Gungahlin district, establishing a settlement in 1826; his settlement was originally known as Palmerville and later was referred to as Ginninderra. Buses are a 3 minute walk. Taxis are available all hours. You can drive to anywhere in Canberra. Walking is an option to the Gungahlin lakes for strolls.
