Bridge House Sleeps 2 (self contained)

Bridge house. Located in the heart of the Brecon Beacons this recently refurbished traditional cottage is full of original features including oak beams and stone fireplace. The cottage has 3 rooms for private use; living room (sofa bed with mattress), kitchen and bathroom, heated by an eco-friendly biomass boiler. Freesat tv and DVD player. A few metres takes you to the nearest footpaths leading to beautiful hills, the Taff Trail or a pretty stream along a valley. Brecon mon canal a short walk. Couples or small families looking for a beautiful getaway, the chance to relax and enjoy a peaceful few days listening to the babbling stream outside the house or be active with lots to see and do nearby. We have two friendly border collies that do not have access to the air b n b property but you may see them in the separate back garden. There is a small front garden near the babbling stream for guest use, with a table and chairs for relaxing. Taff Trail (outside the front door!), Brecon Beacons National Park, Brecon Monmouthshire canal, short walk to a friendly local pub- The Royal Oak (booking recommended), Cantref Community Farm, Llangorse Lake and activity centre, Dark Skies Reserve, Brecon town..... A selection of books are available to read at the property about the Brecon Beacons and some info on local activities. OS maps of the area available for guest use. We will meet and greet or leave a key in a key safe with instructions if not possible. We can advise on local walks and runs wether flat or hilly. We are happy to advise on activities, eating out etc and there is some info in our welcome pack in the cottage. Please enquire if more than 2 people eg a small family. Llanfrynach is a small friendly rural village largely unspoilt by rail and road. There is a Church in the village and a pub 1 mile away. It has a quirky old red phone box which now serves as the village library. The Ty Bach (village loos) are kept open and run by the volunteer residents. There is a bus service that runs through the village to Brecon town centre where you can connect to other services (Abergavenny, Merthyr, Swansea etc). Cycling and walking from the village into the Beacons and on the canal is very accessible. We are located ON the Taff Trail. Private parking available in front of the cottage. Welcome pack on arrival including milk, tea coffee and sugar. Salt, pepper and vinegar also provided for your convenience. Waitrose and other supermarkets deliver here. Double sofa bed in living room with mattress. A basket of wood and kindling is available for your use in WINTER, if anymore is required we can supply it for a small fee, please enquire. Our family live in part of the cottage and extension, we have 2 small children and 2 dogs who don’t have access to any part of the air b n b, but you may hear us now and then. Please close downstairs windows if out or it’s raining.
