Located in the very safe, historical pedestrian-shopping center of Bakirköy, a comfortable, spacious 2+1+balcony apt, fully renovated DEC-2020. Both bed-room windows look to a calm inner-courtyard at the backside facade. Within 1 min. by feet: 3 supermarkets & nice shops, beauty salons, 2 large malls & nice cafes, subway (Marmaray) station: BAKIRKÖY (after 5 stops,10 min., reaching: SIRKECI station in EMINÖNÜ, next to TOPKAPI PALACE, near: HAGIA SOPHIA & BLUE Mosque & Spice Bazaar) This cosy apartment, offering a clean and modern design is located on the 3rd floor (EU-standards: entrance floor, 1st, 2nd, 3rd). There is NO ELEVATOR in the building. --- The apartment offers fast Internet (50 Mbps) with a new high-performance modem and a flat rate contract without giga byte limitation (real flat rate) with the largest provider - Türk Telekom. --- The apartment was fully renovated by an architect, end of 2020. The heating system is new and very good, like all other infrastructure. All furniture/infrastructure/heating system/WiFi system bed and bedding are new. The beds in the bed rooms are large and comfortable. The living room offers a sofa-bed, if needed it can be converted into a double-bed for another 2 guests. This way up to 6 guests could sleep comfortably. The kitchen is very well equipped with more than you'll need: a big refrigerator with a freezer, a dishwasher, a high end gas stove + a large electric turbo oven and a washing machine. --- --- IMPORTANT INFORMATION: A new construction site started on JULY 2021 which is in our street and facing our building. This construction site can only be seen from the living room windows and from the balcony of the living room. Luckily both bed rooms are located at the backside of the building facing towards a calmer inner courtyard which is well protecting guests from the construction site and its noise. Due to this construction site guests do benefit from a higher discount offered for this Airbnb at present. --- --- The neighbors are nice and calm. Please try to respect the quiet of the house. There you can enter the station from a small pedestrian bridge with a famous permanent 2nd-hand-books market. MARMARAY-Subway brings you in 5 stops (10 min.) to the main train station: SIRKECI, which is right next to the famous TOPKAPI PALACE at EMINÖNÜ area. This main station is also very near to the famous SPICE BAZAAR and near SULTANAHMET SQUARE with HAGIA SOPHIA & BLUE Mosques. --- Walking towards South from the apartment you can reach a nice seaside park within 10-15 minutes. You will walk through a lively pedestrian area with plenty of shops and cafes. The long seaside promenade is great for romantic walks or doing sports. There is a jogging track, several open air gyms (free use) and rental bicycle-stations. There are many children playgrounds and cafes at the seaside promenade. At the marina you can watch yachts and enjoy nice restaurants with a sea view, or visit another large mall: GALLERIA Mall. Reaching the seaside there is the BAKIRKÖY speed-ferry pier of IDO (Istanbul Deniz Otobüs). The IDO speed-ferry brings you to YENIKAPI and continues to KADIKÖY and BOSTANCI on Istanbul's Asian side. --- On the embankment you will find an Airport shuttle bus-stop: BAKIRKÖY, run by the company: HAVA-IST, offering transfers to: ISTANBUL Airport (Code: IST). IMPORTANT ADVICE: You should prefer ISTANBUL Airport (Code: IST) as the other airport (Sabiha Gökcen, Code: SAW) is very-very far away on the Asian side of Istanbul. The building is located in the VERY SAFE and lively center of Bakirköy, which is a historical district of Istanbul. The building is located in a pedestrian zone with 3 supermarkets only 15-30 seconds away. There is a great bakery just around the corner, only 50 meter away and there are many many nice boutique shops and plenty of cafes nearby. Our street is very quite during night times so that you can have a calm sleep. There are 2 large shopping malls (CAROUSEL ve CAPACITY) just 2-3 minutes by feet away. In the neighboring buildings there are hairdressers and beauty salons and everything a tourist's heart desires. --- MARMARAY-Subway station: -BAKIRKÖY- is just 1 min. by feet away. at the end of our street. --- The main square of Bakirköy is just 5 minutes by feet away from where you will find public buses, minibuses, comfortable & cheap 24/7 group taxi (DOLMUS) to all districts of Istanbul. --- IMPORTANT INFORMATION: A new construction site started on JULY 2021 which is in our street and facing our building.
