Banjo's Retreat - Stanthorpe Country Stay

A perfect country stay for family and friends. Banjo’s Retreat is nestled in the heart of secluded bushland at Stanthorpe in Queensland, and is superbly suited for large groups and families up to 10 people with everything you would need for a weekend retreat. This house is both spacious and cosy, with pine floors, double barn doors, contemporary décor and comfortable, modern furnishings. With upstairs and downstairs living, there is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy their own personal space. The superb deck area, complete with double-sided fireplace, gas barbecue and huge timber table, is the perfect spot to enjoy all the elements of the great outdoors. Breathe in the crisp country air while taking in magical views of the forest. Banjo’s Retreat Upstairs Features: In the living area you’ll find a ten-seater corner leather lounge. There is plenty of space for a pullout queens size bed for extra guests on request. You can watch your favourite TV show or listen to music from the stereo and choose from a selection of CDs. Downstairs Features: Downstairs is a large open area with a queen bed, and two king single beds and toilet. This room also has a fridge, microwave and kitchenette facilities. All you need at Banjo’s is good company as Banjo’s has everything else! Banjo's Retreat Provides: 3 Bedrooms: Upstairs are 2 Queen sized beds, one with ensuite. Downstairs is 1 Queen sized bed + 2 singles (open area shared room plus toilet). There is also spare pull-out queen sized bed on request (please advise if needed). 3 Bathrooms: 3 Toilets and 2 showers Living: Ten seater corner lounge – Large dining table seats 10 – Large round wooden table on deck. Cooking: Gas oven – Microwave – BBQ Appliances: 3 Fridges, 2 Microwaves (1 downstairs), Washing machine, 1 Hair Dryer, 2 Jugs – 2 Toasters – Frypan – Hand Beater – Sandwich Maker, Fan heater – Fans in all bedrooms, Electric Blankets on all beds. * No Dishwasher. Entertainment: TV – Video – DVD – Library of 30 DVDs – CD player (Speakers onto deck) – Cards and Board Games – Billy Cart The hosts of Banjo's retreat do not live on site, allowing you to enjoy the entire property to yourself, but are always able to be contacted by phone if you have any questions or concerns. For the bushwalking enthusiasts and the wine connoisseurs make sure you put Stanthorpe on your list for your next place to visit. Here’s just a few things listed so you make the most of your stay. Stanthorpe’s Local Wineries: Queensland’s wine capital is famous for its excellent wine making qualities. Add to your collection of wines by visiting one of more than 40 cellar doors and 55 wineries and taking a tour around the local vineyards. An experience not to be missed. Stanthorpe also supports a variety of fresh produce including apples, pears, stone fruits, vegetables, grapes berries and olives. National Parks - Monsters In Hills Made of Pure Granite: The Granite Belt is unique for not just the local wineries but the many national parks. You can climb the Pyramid, Castle Rock or Mount Norman and you will be sure to find a granite monster to climb. The Queen Mary Falls have many beautiful walking track and if you have a 4WD you will find this an advantage in some parts of the national parks. It is best to have your own personal transport but there are private bus tours available to take you to the wineries in the area.
