Jasmine Folly - Cozy, Unique Cottage in Lakeside

Quaint, quirky 1950s cottage in beautiful Lakeside, Ohio - sleeps 8! Enjoy all that Lakeside has to offer. Short walk to pool, shopping, restaurants, evening entertainment, putt-putt and other recreation, and of course, Lake Erie! Relax in the cozy family room or grill burgers in the shaded picnic area in the back yard. Pet-friendly. **Lakeside gate fees apply Memorial Day to Labor Day - look up prior to reserving.** Some Lakeside activities have been limited due to Covid. Jasmine Folly has three bedrooms and sleeps 8. Space for two additional guests is available on the pull-out couch in the living room. Bedroom #1 has a separate entrance off the front porch. Bedroom #2 is in the interior of the cottage, and has a curtain for privacy. The upstairs loft has 4 single beds and is ONLY accessible with a pull-down ladder. Toddlers and people with mobility problems should not use the loft. Toilet room with sink is separate from shower room. You will get to use the entire cottage and yard, but not the outside shed. Either my co-host or I will usually be available to answer questions, but there may be times when we are unavailable. During the summer season, Lakeside amenities include a brand-new pool with two water slides and zero-entry access, beach access to Lake Erie with life guards, baby pool, splash pad, basketball and volleyball courts, tennis and pickle ball, multiple playgrounds, putt-putt, movie theater, nightly program events, educational lectures, shops, and restaurants. Our cottage is located about 6 blocks from downtown Lakeside. A Mexican restaurant, Lago, is two blocks from our cottage, across from the Lakeside pool. Lakeside is a great base to explore other nearby attractions, including Marblehead Lighthouse, Kelley's Island, Put-in-Bay, and historic Johnson's Island. Only 40 minutes to Cedar Point! Jasmine Folly is not close to public transportation. Space is available for two cars on the property, but Lakeside auto fees apply. Please enjoy our cottage and all of its amenities. Guests will have access to the entire cottage. The fully functioning kitchen includes a stove/oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, plenty of pots and pans, serving dishes, cups, coffee mugs, and place settings and utensils for 8+. Dining table seats 4. Toilet paper and paper towels are provided. ***Our cottage is located inside the private gated community of Lakeside, Ohio. There is an additional gate fee during the summer. Make sure to search Lakeside, Ohio for details.*** Air conditioning: There are three window air conditioning units: one in bedroom #1, one in the common area, and one in the upstairs loft with four single beds. ***Stairs: The upstairs loft is only accessible via a pull-down ladder. Toddlers and people with mobility issues should not stay in the upstairs loft.*** ***The Lakeside pool and other Lakeside activities may be limited due to Covid-19. Please check the Lakeside website for current information.*** The bathroom consists of a toilet/sink in one room and a separate shower room. Pool is only available from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Parking is available for two cars on the property.
