3 bedroom, 2 bathroom family home, a stones throw from 'downtown' Newtonville. We can comfortably fit up to 8 while you cheer at the marathon or explore Boston. Just a 3 minute walk to the Commuter rail to get downtown, or 10 minute drive to Boston. Our home is in a historic neighborhood of beautiful old Victorians dating from the late 1800s. Our Victorian has been converted into a two family and we live on the top 2 floors. We love the character and charm of the original wood floors and other details that make the space unique. We are avid travelers and foodies and the space reflects that- filled with pieces we've collected from around the world, and a chef's kitchen complete with high end cookware and gadgets. Guests have access to our entire home, including the spacious yard and 2 parking spaces. I am always available via phone/ email/ text. Newton is a suburb of Boston and in 10 minutes you can drive downtown to enjoy all that Boston has to offer. Newtonville has a bustling downtown with coffee shops, several good restaurants and cute little stores- all within sight from our house! You can easily walk to the playground or drive 5 minutes to the local pool in the summertime. Within a 10 minute walk you can also get to Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Starbucks, the town library or numerous stores. The commuter rail conveniently stops about a 4 minute walk from our home and brings you to a few different stops in Boston. There are also 2 bus lines that stop nearby.
