Situated in the middle of the Heathcote wine region and nestled away in the ironbark forest, Grape Escape Cottage offers a fully appointed 3-bedroom house with its own secluded courtyard, with kangaroos in the paddock and beautiful bird life. Perfect for forest walks, wine tasting, or just relaxing and watching the world go by. Guests can access the walking trails through the state forest, which is right next door. Guest are also welcome to take a walk around the 20 acres of property, if they wish. Guests also have the option of going on a wine tour, as Heathcote is home to some of Victoria's greatest Shiraz. Owners Joe and Cathy are available either on the phone or in person, whenever guests need any questions answered or suggestions on things to do and see in and around the area. We are surrounded on two sides by state forest, which has easy walking tracks through it.
