This is a unique cottage that has magical valley views and great energy. Located in the Hinterland area of Cooroy, set on 6 1/2 lush acres, over looking mountains and valleys, the separate self-contained cabin forms part of our 6 1/2 Acre homestead with a main home we live in. Surrounded by a permaculture garden with native birds being the only background sounds. There is something unique about the proximity, as this property is surrounded by pyramid-style mountains. A delightful space with queen bed, a spare single which is also a couch, bathroom shower kitchen with stove and oven. Natural and simplistic yet very comfortable and stylish and private. Comfortable for 2 persons extra mattress available for a child. A Quiet and peaceful space that gives the visitor time to unwind and get off the merry-go-round. The cottage is serviced by a fresh rainwater tank has filtered water and a shower bathroom. Great views from balcony/verandah for enjoying the beautiful sunrise & sunsets. Inside the cottage, there is a water purifier, TV, DVD player, some great movies for your enjoyment, CD player, books and magazines. The cottage is 5 minutes drive from Cooroy village and Station and bus stop and around 25 minutes drive from popular Noosa beach National park. The local Cooroy village has many facilities including a modern library, restaurants, coffee shops and cafes.. Just beautiful. Guests will have access to private location, complete with TV, DVD player, self contained kitchen, queen size bed, bathroom with toilet & shower. Private balcony deck with views of the garden and pond. In the cottage there is somewhere to hang your clothes and leave your bags. Guests are also welcome to use Juicer machine which is included in the kitchen, and Blender. If there are any bananas growing in season, guests are welcome to these too. Internet access can be found from main home by arrangement or best bring your own mobile broadband to use in the cabin. Reception for mobiles is very good. Interaction with guests will happen as much as the guests require. If they want privacy and less chatter we can accommodate their needs. If they want to join us for a cuppa or just a chat, we are happy to do that too, and give them tips on what to do around the area. We are happy and friendly people, so we respect where our guests are at without living on top of them. Privacy and respect is paramount for us and our future guests. Our neighborhood is quiet, and tranquil. As we are living on just over 6 acres, there is plenty of space to walk. The surrounding area is complete with cows and the occassional tractor will come and go. Lots of wildlife such as kangaroos, bush turkeys, kookaburra's, finches , blue wrens etc can be found around the property. We are surrounded by three mountains with rolling hills either side that are 150 to 250 acres in size. The road to our home is just over 1 Km. The tree lined road runs past several homes going uphill before reaching our 'sunshine ridge' turnoff. Look for the sign up our concrete drive that says "Sunshine Ridge". Bushwalks from main house are very scenic and can be physical so bring runners. Cooroy has a railway and bus stops, new modern library, coffee shops , RSL and golf club, cafe eateries and clothing boutiques, famous Eumundi markets nearby. Botanical gardens with lake for paddling and BBQ's 10min drive. There are plenty of great drives and nice scenery to Kenilworth and surrounds. Noosa national park and beaches are just 20-30 mins away as are good shopping centres. Should the guest require any recreational ideas, we have plenty, from local bushwalks, birdwatching to great local cafe restaurants, botanical gardens and lake nearby, Noosa national park beach walks, surfing at Noosa Heads. A single or double kayak is available for hire, please ask, you will just need suitable roof racks.
