Located about 10 min from Downtown Lancaster, Spooky Nook Sports, Columbia antique warehouses, F&M, MU & 20 minutes from outlet shopping & many Lanc Co tourist hotspots, make travel to planned destinations easy and quick. If laying low for your stay, you'll find indoor & outdoor fireplaces available for a quiet evening of enjoyment. Works of art by over 30 years of Hempfield High School graduates adorn the interior spaces to give your stay that added special touch. Post and beam detailing and plenty of natural surfaces offer artistic interpretations with an old-world feel. Guests have access to a full kitchen, wood for the outdoor fireplace, all linens, and amenities expected in a fully furnished home. Guests are free to contact us as needed. We want your stay to be relaxed and comfortable. The best part of our neighborhood is the friendly, quiet, laid-back atmosphere yet being only minutes away from great restaurants, nightlife, theatre, antiquing, history and more. This is Lancaster County at its best! Marietta Avenue has direct bus lines into the city. Red Rose Transit stops at the corner of Dorsea Road & Marietta Ave, 10 steps off the end of the driveway. The second bedroom accommodates guests in two separate futon style beds, one on a fold down couch and the second on a pull out platform. The futon mattresses are fitted with cotton sheets and bedding. We include a one time breakfast for two (not including a gratuity) at The Pantry, a local breakfast joint just down the street.
