Häusle Character Cornish Cottage

Häusle is a 200 year old traditional Cornish cottage with exposed beams and exposed inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove. In the summer it is lovely to relax in the peaceful back garden and in the winter time, to snuggle up on the large sofa next to the fire. The town of Redruth is full of rich mining heritage and is ideally located to access both the beautiful North and South Coast of Cornwall. Häusle is a 200 year old traditional Cornish cottage with exposed beams and exposed inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove. It has a more modern extension at the rear which forms a lovely bright cheerful kitchen with a bedroom adjacent which can open to the back garden. This bedroom has a king-size bed. Through the kitchen there is a toilet and wash basin. The garden can also be accessed from the kitchen back door and it has a flat patio area perfect for sitting or dining outside. A few steps lead to a lawned area surrounded by beautiful flowers and shrubs. Upstairs there are 2 comfortable double bedrooms and a bathroom with bath and shower. Ideally it will be the upper 2 double bedrooms but if there are any mobility issues, then let me know and I will try to accomodate. There is plenty of private parking space off the road outside the cottage. There is a small step into the cottage and then to the outside gardens. I will be available by telephone. If you would like, I can meet you on arrival. The cottage is within a residential area with houses opposite. We are lucky there is off-road parking outside the cottage so no issues for parking. care is needed when reversing in or out of the cottage parking space. We are a 10 minute walk to the train station. It is a 5 minute drive onto the A30. Redruth train station is on the London to Penzance main route. You can get to Truro easily, which can link to Falmouth. The famous and very beutiful train ride to St Ives is easy- either jump on at Redruth or St Erth, and connect to St Ives. The A30 runs through the spine of Cornwall and we are 5 minutes from that. Newquay airport is 40 minute drive.
