Eppalock Getaway House

The house is ideally located with an array of activities close by: Lake Eppalock 5 minutes away for all water activities. Heathcote Park Raceway is 15 minutes away and is a great venue for drag racing enthusiasts. The popular Axedale Golf Club is also 15 minutes away and is a fantastic course for the avid golfer. Heathcote wine country is only 30 minutes away and Bendigo, a short 10 minute drive offers a multitude of activities including shopping, nightlife and rich art and history culture. Nestled in the outer fringe of the Lyell State Forest, surrounded by box ironbark trees is this beautiful stone country house. With 7 acres of peaceful surroundings, the Eppalock Getaway House is perfect for a relaxing weekend away. The house is a rustic character filled design, rich in history. It is built from stone sourced from the property, recycled brick and glorious timbers and reclaimed features which add to the eclectic touches. It is a three story house, with a wrap around balcony and undulating picturesque views of the forest. There are two bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower and toilet. The lounge room offers additional sleeping space with a sofa bed. All sheds are not for use. I am available for questions via phone, text or email for any assistance you require. Strathfieldsaye is only a 5 minute drive away with a small shopping centre: IGA supermarket, chemist, bakery, post office, service station and doctors surgery. It also has Braidies Tavern, the perfect venue for a delicious pub meal. The property is non smoking, inside and out. No parties and please be courteous to the neighbours. The house is maximum 5 guests and no children under the age of 6 due to house layout. Any undeclared guests not listed on the original booking are charged at a fee of $100 per guest, per night.
