Summer of Surf Kabalana

This is the perfect accommodation for individuals, couples, group of friends or family. You can relax in the small private garden, taking in the tropical atmosphere of palm trees and the sound of waves in the background. The house is located 50 meters from "The Rock" (surf point), which has been thought to be an A-Frame reef break in Sri Lanka. Making this one of the best accommodations for the avid surfer. The rooms are all spacious, clean, with A/C and hot water. So what are you waiting for! You can either book one room (1-2 people), one floor (1-6 people) or the entire house (1-10 people). Both floors have a kitchen, so on days where you want to stay in you can enjoy cooking for yourself. Most important is that you enjoy the space as if it is your own home. Relax and layback is our motto. Guests have access to the garden, kitchen and inside dining/living area of their floor. Outside dining area (upstairs/downstairs) can be accessed by everyone. We live close to the house so if there is ever an issue we will always be able to come over quickly. The neighborhood is a surfers paradise. You are less than a minute walk from the beautiful sandy beach of Kabalana, where you will find some amazing surfing and the famous surf point "The Rock". You are a 2 min walk from the best known restaurant in the area, Cafe Ceylon where you can have amazing food, relax in the lounge with a good book and cup of coffee or try out a delicious cocktail. Furthermore, you can drive within 30 min to Mirissa Beach, 20 min to Weligama Beach and 20 min to Unawatuna Beach. All of them well known surf points and beautiful beaches. Unawatuna Beach has some great beach front restaurants where you can enjoy the night with good seafood, delicious cocktails and dancing. It is easy to get around with public transport whether it be by bus or tuk-tuk. Furthermore, many tourists rent out scooters during their stay. Please make sure you have an international drivers license if you decide to rent one. Breakfast will not be served at the house but at our sister restaurant Cafe Ceylon, which is approximately 60 meters from the house (2 min walk).
