We are a small, family-run farm stay providing self-contained accommodation in Kulnura on the NSW Central Coast - Only 45 minutes from Sydney's north shore. We are definitely family/kid friendly and accommodate fur babies too. Enjoy the wide open spaces, our landscaped gardens, solar-heated pool, outdoor BBQ or roast marshmallows over the fire pit. We are happy to share our daily farm chores and our honey making venture. Please do come, stay and enjoy! Set in the quaint, rural community of Kulnura our Cottage offers self-contained farm stay accommodation and experiences. Cottage 2 offers a large living and dining/kitchen area with sofa lounge and loft-style bedroom which can be configured for 4 singles and a rollaway bed or 1 king and 2 single beds and a rollaway bed. Guests are welcome to make use of our solar heated pool, swings and trampoline, outdoor covered BBQ area and fire pit. Enjoy our landscaped gardens and experience life on a small hobby farm. Pat a horse, feed the cows, collect fresh eggs for your breakfast when the chickens are laying. Our family will happily share our experience making a 'tree-change' and host your farm stay experiences including feeding the farm animals and collecting fresh eggs (when the hens are laying). Please note that we are not a commercially run farm but can recommend our close neighbours who offer farm tours, milking cows etc at a reasonable cost. Please feel free to ask us about of freshly harvested manuka honey (Yarramalong Valley Honey) that was recently rated MGO 150+. We are just as happy to provide privacy for those wishing minimal interaction. Kulnura is located 45 mins from Sydney's north shore on the NSW Central Coast but feels like a million miles from hectic city life. The area is renowned for its market gardens and orchards. It is fed by natural spring water recognised as one of the highest quality sources in the country. We are a short drive to historic Wollombi and the Hunter Valley. Local attractions include farmers markets, cafes, pubs, Restaurants (Saddles & The Springs), golf courses, cheese and chocolate artisans, Australian Reptile Park, Grace Springs Farm, Glenworth Valley horse riding, quad bike and Treetops zip line adventures as well as mountain biking and the great north walk. Somersby Falls is also a little known local attraction with amazing natural waterfalls if you are keen for a hike! Do a lot or very little but you are always welcome! A car is essential. We are approximately 35 minutes from shopping centres at Gosford or Tuggerah but we have a local corner store within 5 minutes drive for essentials as well as fresh fruit and vegetable stalls for purchasing produce directly from the farmer. Apologies but we are unable to accommodate parties, camping or motorised vehicles such as trail bikes. For safety reasons, we ask guests to please supervise children and pets around the farm animals.
