On arrival, you will be greeted and handed your keys to your very own hideaway. The Hermitage awaits your arrival where the start of your journey to an unforgettable stay begins... Whether your stay with us is to escape from everyday life or to prepare yourself for that very special day. The Hermitage has everything you need for your very own private retreat. Kitchen: Fridge Multifunctional oven and hob Kettle & Toaster A Comprehensive set of cutlery, dishes and glasses Cooking utensils For your comfort: Egyptian Cotton bed linen Towels and robes Slippers 5 - star contemporary bathroom complete with rain shower Services: Free WiFi - we are remote so it's not high-speed but good enough to stay in contact with the outside world (if you want to!!) Smart TV in the sitting room Hairdryer Underfloor heating Iron and Ironing board COVID 19: The Hermitage is throughly cleaned prior to your arrival. Anticabterial soap, washing up liquid and hand sanitiser is provided for your stay. Our meet and greet policy has been changed to ensure social distancing is followed. Upon arrival, we will great you and show you to your own private hideaway. The Hermitage is located within the grounds of our own home and we are on hand to help you enjoy your stay. When possible a daily cleaning service will be provided by myself, however this is not always guaranteed. The Hermitage has a private parking area for 1 car infront of the bamboo pots which is covered by external CCTV for your own piece of mind. Situated in the heart of the Yeo Valley and surrounded by beautiful countryside, step outside the door of the Hermitage and you are on the path that will take you up to the breath-taking views of the Mendip Hills or head down the hill to the unspoilt landscape of Blagdon Lake. Blagdon lake offers beautiful country views, nature lovers walks and idyllic picnic spots. You truly are spoilt for country walks, stunning country venues and outdoor pursuits are just a stone's throw away. We are also located close to two stunning wedding venues: Aldwick Court Farm & Vineyard A stunning venue situated 1 mile from The Hermitage. An award-winning wedding venue set within the grounds of its own Vineyard. Coombe Lodge A stunning venue situated 1.5 miles away from the Hermitage. A combination of a grand family home with secluded gardens breathtaking views across the Chew Valley. Coombe Lodge is a beautiful venue loved and cared for by a professional team. If you just want to explore the local area we are only a short drive from Bristol, Bath, Wells, Cheddar and Weston Super-Mare which all have something different to offer. There is no local bus service, your own car is essential. Taxi services are available. The Hermitage is located next to a public footpath and whilst on beautiful days walkers may come past, the Hermitage is elevated much higher. At no time will your privacy be impacted. The Hermitage is within the grounds of our family home and normal family life will continue during your stay. We will not impose on you and in return we ask that you respect our home.
