Sassafras Cottage - A comfortable cosy cottage.

Our cosy warm cottage is located in a quiet leafy street in the beautiful Blue Mountains. It is located 5 minutes away from Springwood train station allowing access to all the mountain villages. Also it's only I hour 15 minutes to Sydney city centre. Our home is very easy to locate being just moments from the Great Western Highway. Springwood's cafes, hotels, supermarkets and variety stores are only a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk away. Set in a wonderful natural area, close to bushwalking and sight seeing. National parks surround the area. All of the home is for guests use. The downstairs garage is not available. The driveway at the side of the house is free for parking. We will be available for help during guests stay either by email or phone. Our cottage is in a typical mountain street with many trees and valley views. The street is quiet with only locals traveling by. Springwood Train Station is only a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive away. From here you can catch trains to all the mountain villages, where you can enjoy great food, sight seeing and bush walking. Trains with stops on the way to Sydney city centre are also available from Springwood Station. There is a local bus company, which runs regular services in the Blue mountains. A copy of timetables is available at the house. Our cottage is located close to the Great Western Highway so all places are easily accessed by car. Our cottage has polished wooden floors and older style Australian furniture. A large back verandah to relax and enjoy the natural setting. It's a cost winter retreat with reverse cycle air conditioning and a gas heater which heats up the whole house. Tea, coffee and basic cooking needs are supplied. Linen is supplied. We have a very friendly neighbour's cat- Tommy Dexter. Very cute, but please leave him outside.
