Monte dos Padres, Estremoz

Alentejo Cottage inside a wine property less than 3 km from Estremoz. It's a house with 2 rooms (T2), a swimming pool, some fruit and olive trees and a wonderful view over the vines. When you rent the house, you'll have the whole Cottage for yourself, and you won't have to share it with other guests. Monte dos Padres offers two rustic houses: the main house and an extension apartment to the main house ( which is not available yet). The main house has two rooms: one with a double bed, and the other room offers 2 single beds. 1 large bathroom featuring bath tub equipped with full shower. 1 living room with a large sofa featuring a wonderful fireplace which also comprises the dining room with table for 6, and a fully supplied kitchen. All rooms have windows. It comfortably accommodates 6 people. Guests will have access to the whole property with the exception of the annex. The maximum capacity is 6 pax. The hosts do not live in Monte dos Padres. Thus, apart from some occasional check in and check outs they won't be present during guests stays. The name Monte dos Padres- a property going back to the XVII century - stems from the fact that this used to be the residence of the Priests ( Padres) belonging to the Hermitage Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Cabeça ( literally Our Lady of the Head) that can be seen from a distance. What differentiates Monte dos Padres from other cottages is its location. The fact that it's the only residential house within a two wineries property makes it even more exclusive, peaceful and unusually silent. The surrounding landscape is beautiful and you can even catch a sight of Estremoz. The area is also great for walks, tracking, cross/mountain-bikes,etc. You can even walk or jog your way till Estremoz through a country road that passes just outside the house. It will take some 30 minutes or less. Car, Motorbike or Bicycle are essential to take full advantage of the region. Sometimes during stays the swimming pool an gardening staff might visit the house.
