We will be away but you can text us if you have any questions. Our house is close to anything you can think of, the city, local restaurants, great outlet shopping, markets, nightlife and even secluded beaches. Not only are bus stops nearby if you don’t have a car, there are rental bikes dotted around the area to use, perfect for a ride right around the bay. If you don’t have your own car, Uber, taxis and public transport are readily available. It’s a quick trip to the city for great shows, shopping and tourist attractions. You will find a guide to Sydney left for you with tips and suggestions to places to see. Nield Park is a minute’s walk away which is very popular on New Years Eve to view what has been said are the greatest fireworks in the world. Also at the park is a wonderful cafe which has a special dinner on 31 December (booking essential). My favourite spot in the afternoon is the front balcony for some wine and cheese and a view of the bay where you can spot jumping fish, bird life and the odd pelican. Enjoy!
