Jacaranda Studio: family friendly & close to Freo

Our loft studio has a modern monochromatic interior furnished in relaxed retro and vintage pieces. It is set in our child-friendly, native garden with a communal vegie patch and fruit trees. The property is home to our three active kids, a cat, two rabbits, a dog and two chooks. We often accommodate guests with small pets so please ask if you are interested in having your pet stay. We are located close to Freo in the quiet and leafy urban village of Hilton. The loft studio is a fully separate guesthouse located adjacent to our home. We hope you enjoy your stay. PLEASE NOTE: electric gate closes automatically after 30 seconds, however there is a motion sensor to stop it closing on anyone. There is no such sensor as the gate opens, so please always check for small children near the gate before operating. We have a portacot, high chair and toys available to keep little people safe and amused, and the yard is fully fenced so kids are safe to roam and play on the vast range of outdoor play equipment. Guests are welcome to use the entire garden. Help yourself to herbs from the vegie patch, use the BBQ, or relax under the verandah. You are encouraged to park in our fully fenced driveway which is accessed via an electric gate. We are happy to interact with you as much or as little as you want. The kids are generally outdoors using the garden, but are aware of respecting your privacy. However, if you have young kids with you then it's GAME ON! A quiet and friendly suburb, designed for returned servicemen in the 1940's which makes it feel more like a little village. There is a grocer, post office, doctor, pharmacy, café, newsagent, playgrounds and take away restaurants all within 5 minute walk (800m) of the house. The studio is located just off South St which is the main access to the shops and Fremantle (>5km). The number 99 and 98 buses stop on South St and are a great way to get into Freo. South Beach is 5km from the house and is found via South St then left at South Tce. We recommend exploring the myriad of funky restaurants, pubs and cafes along South Terrace. We have a bunch of pets. Visitors are welcome to enquire about meeting, feeding and handling the chooks, dog and rabbits.
