Historic Downtown Cottage

The Spring Street Cottage is a cozy historic home, located in downtown Brattleboro. An easy, three-minute walk to Main St with restaurants, shops, and galleries to visit. The train station is less than a 10-minute walk, so if you're taking the train up from NYC, this is the perfect spot. This is a part-time residence so you will easily feel at home whether you're traveling for fun, work, or are local and looking for a short-term rental. We welcome people from all backgrounds. The main bedroom is on the first floor with full bath. The stairs to the second floor are narrow and steep, but we have modernized them with a sturdy handrail. The bathroom upstairs is a half-bath - an old clawfoot tub, new sink and toilet. One upstairs bedroom has two twin beds and the second has one twin. In keeping with the historic feel of the house the ceilings in the upstairs are quite low. Again, we've done our best to modernize.
