French Farm Stay

Come and join us at our little piece of heaven, a permaculture farm perched on a beautiful hill, surrounded by native forest and only 20 minutes from the beach! Enjoy the magic of living right in the middle of nature while still having all of your creature comforts looked after. Families, couples, solo adventurers and furry friends are all welcome to enjoy a bit of fresh air, peace and quiet and the warmth of french hospitality. Hope to see you soon :) We live on a permaculture farm, in a harmonious cohabitation with Nature, involving plenty of plants, trees, and animals ! With donkeys, goats, chickens, ducks and our sheep by our side, you'll get to appreciate a genuine experience of the countryside's peacefulness ! You'll get a taste of the fresh eggs, fruits and vegetables from the farm as well as home made jam, butter and cheese. The guest area (including bedrooms, private kitchen, private bathroom and outdoor eating area) is located at the end of our house and guests have private access to their apartment using the back veranda. There is also a covered area to park your car. Guests can wander the gardens and explore the magical food forest, gaining an understanding of basic permaculture principles while doing so. Enjoy the magic of harvesting fresh food and patting and feeding the friendly animals. Appreciate the fruits (literally) of positive and dedicated work with and for the land. And don't worry if all these adventures make you a bit hungry as you'll be more than welcomed to share a hearty french family meal cooked by your host, Mama Ghislaine. For all the week-end musicians and singers, jamming is a healthy habit we indulge in. We are 5 minutes drive from Nabiac, a cute little town where you can find all your basics. Otherwise, the regional centres of Taree and Forster are both a 30 minute drive away. The place is easily accessible by car and a quick drive from the highway. We are also happy to offer a lift to public transport in Taree and Forster if necessary.
