Cozy Home is an old farmhouse so after a long rain or a big snow melt, you may get some standing water in the basement, but no worries, we have a dehumidifier to take care of it and that's definitely much better than the old days! If that may bother you, think about passing, otherwise some nice hot cocoa or coffee will cozy you right in! You will be messaged a code followed by a check mark. This code is enabled in the electronic keypad deadbolt during your stay and can be used to unlock as well as to lock the door. We live very close by and are easily available for any questions and or last minute needs. We look forward to hosting your stay in Medina. If you need to use the pull out sofa bed, the sheets and throw are in the ottoman next to the sofa (between the sofa and the desk), Duvet and pillows are in the bedroom closet. Bernie & Courtney The property is at 705 Wadsworth Rd, Medina, OH 44256 Travel by car is the most popular choice but being only 4 blocks from downtown Medina, it is a shorty Lyft/Uber from most venues to our home. Lyfts and Ubers are always readily available. The location is very walkable to all the events being held on the square. Central Medina is mostly walkable from the property, otherwise Medina is mostly accessed by car, however, public transportation is available with published bus routes....and there is always an Uber available! Besides the plethora of Coffee shops, restaurants and the Medina Square within 4-5 blocks of our property, Medina is home or close to home for many Ohio businesses. This space has been prepared for guests traveling from out of town! We love to host guests from out of town who have previously stayed in short term rentals and earned favorable reviews. While we appreciate the interest in staying with our property, please note that we do not cater guests who live in the area and are looking for an alternate venue for their affairs or events and reserve the right to turn these guests away. HOUSEKEEPING: •There is no daily housekeeping service provided at the rental rate. Before check-in, the unit will be thoroughly cleaned and inspected. Extra clean sheets and towels will be available in the unit. For longer stays, Mid-stay cleaning services can be requested for an additional fee. TRASH DISPOSAL: •Please gather excess trash and place it in large receptacles at the side of the house. We’d appreciate it if you let us know as soon as you find out the need to extend your stay. We would like to inform you that we only allow extension requests until 12:00 am on your last day in the property. Any requests that come in after midnight while the cleaner is already scheduled for that day will have an additional cleaning fee. NOTE: •We provide complementary consumables like toiletries which include soap, shampoo, conditioner, coffee, packets of creamer and sugar, and other bathroom amenities. For your convenience, we offer mid-reservation supplies replenishing at minimal cost.
