Lakeside @ Tuross Head

A light and airy house which comfortably accommodates 6 - 8. Go to sleep to the sound of the ocean, wake up to parrots feeding in the garden. Lakeside @ Tuross Head is right on the shared path that runs right around the town and connects all the beaches. Stroll to the lake or take a scenic walk through wetlands to beautiful beaches and spectacular headlands which offer great opportunities for whale watching or seal spotting. Tuross Head has great fishing, swimming and boating. This is a relaxed three bedroom home with lots of outdoor living space. There is outdoor dining and barbecue on the raised verandah with views over the lake. In addition there is a secluded paved sitting area in the garden with comfy chairs and a hammock for complete relaxation. Everything is provided for you, beautiful linen on all the beds, towels and beach towels. This is our holiday home too and we want to minimise how much we need to bring with us when we're there. Help yourself to the well stocked pantry: usually there will be too many condiments, cereal, staples (flour, sugar, oil and vinegar), herbs and spices, tea and coffee. If something runs out let us know. Dogs are welcome too, but outside only on the verandah or in either the front or back fenced yards. There are food and water bowls, and a dog bed. There are books, puzzles and DVDs and Netflix for rainy days. You have run of the house except the liquor cabinet. Make yourself at home. There is a barbecue and deck chairs for chilling out of doors. You will also find a high chair and folding cot for the littlies. The house is on stilts and there are steps back and front. The verandah is gated so you can keep your little ones and your dog safe. There is a fenced play space immediately in front of the house with a secluded and shady paved area for reading and dozing. There is also a small fenced area out the back ( this space was built for quite a small dog so may not keep jumpers or climbers contained). We hope you enjoy our holiday home as if it were your own. Tuross Head is a beautiful beachside town with lots of charm, stunning sea views and makes a great base to explore the NSW South Coast. Visit historic Bodalla or Moruya, beautiful Potato Point, Dalmeny and Narooma. Take a tour of Montague Island and swim with the seals or whale watch in season. The house is right on the shared path which will take you all around the town. There are plenty of great walks for you and your dog. Hire a boat and explore Tuross Lake. This is a strictly non-smoking household.
