Rockpool ~ a grand design home

Completed Jan 2020, this year, this mid-century monolithic home was followed by Grand Designs. Come and stay in this amazing architect designed home in an isolated strip of the Tasmanian coast only 1 hour from Freycinet National Park and Bay of Fires. Dolphins and Whales swim by regular. Built of rammed earth, glass and concrete, with an infinity pool, this property never fails to inspire and entice you to completely relax. . There is so much to see and enjoy. Rockpool is set up as a unique place to stay. Imagine waking up, looking down towards Bicheno and the Freycinet peninsula. Paul and I are contactable by phone during your stay. Our Manager/Cleaner lives near by and will be very helpful should you have any issues during your stay. Little Beach is only a short stroll away and Lagoons beach a few minutes by car or push bike. It is absolutely beautiful and private here at the house. You can sit on the deck and watch the whales, dolphins and the occasional seal and the world pass you by or fish off the rocks. Golf is only 25 minutes away and there are 7 wineries within a 50 minute drive. The nearest towns are St. Mary's, Bicheno and Scamander. St. Helens is quite large and about 40 minutes away. We ride our push bikes to Bicheno or Scamander for coffee. About 60kms round trip. Hire cars available from Launceston or Hobart airport, or enjoy a Spirit of Tasmania trip over. Cars go free on the Spirit from May to July 2021. There are plenty of bush walks in the immediate vicinity. Always be mindful of the right shoes.
