Beautifully converted 5 STAR barn on our 250 acre sheep and beef farm is situated on the Welsh/ English border. Our self catering cottage’s are set just a mile from a small village called Worthenbury down a country lane where you can go for a quiet walk or cycle ride. Fielsdview is a unique bungalow which was the old milking shippon/parlour and still has some of the old characteristics such as its high ceilings and arches where the cows used to sleep and feed. Very spacious and on one level, It has one bedroom with twin beds or a super king size bed, also a child's bed is available on request ( please let us know which beds you would like made up)with a TV and en suite wet room. Fieldsview accommodates 3 Adults or 2 Adults and 2 children comfortably. The kitchen is fully equipped with all new appliances- dishwasher, washing machine, fridge , a separate freezer ,microwave and a radio, dining table for 4 which extends. We also supply you with Dishwasher Tablets, washing up liquid, salt, pepper cleaning products, tea ,coffee, sugar and milk for when you arrive. Victorian style main bathroom with claw feet bath. The lounge has a double bed settee, electric fire ,TV with DVD player. Externally there is a patio over looking the fields with a BBQ and a free large car park and free WiFi This listing is unique because of its space and the wow factor it has. We are only 2 miles from a picturesque village Bangor-on Dee which is set on the river Dee and has 2 country pubs, Hairdresser’s, shop and a race course. We are only 10 minutes from the market town of Wrexham which offers lot’s of thing to do, 20 minutes from Llangollen and 40 minutes from the historic town’s Chester and Shrewsbury. 2 miles to public transport a A car is essential large area for free parking at the property Thank you for booking with us at Wallington Farm Barns WELCOME - We have carried out Covid-19 training and created necessary risk assessments. Housekeepers are trained in Covid-19 cleaning practices. If you feel ill whilst you are here, please notify us straight away and we can advise on the nearest medical resources and if necessary. In the event of your symptoms continuing it is advisable, if possible, to return home and self-isolate. PLANNING AHEAD –Things to bring along. I am happy for you to bring along your own pillows and duvets, however these are changed weekly and all cleaned to a very high standard. Please advise beforehand if you are bringing any of your own bedding and then we can leave the beds ready for you to make up. Please bring your groceries with you or organise a delivery from our local supermarkets which include Sainsburys, Asda, Iceland, Tesco's and Ocado. Some local cafes and pubs have excellent take away menus and we are happy to advise... DURING YOUR STAY - There will be extra cleaning products, hand sanitisers, hand towels for your use. I am sorry but Farm participation will not be possible at the current time but you will still be able to see the animals in the fields. DEPARTURE - Please help us by stripping beds and place linen together with towels in the laundry bags provided. Please leave on time at 10.00 am to give us sufficient time to prepare for the next guests. Please load the Dishwasher with crockery, cutlery, glasses etc. and turn it on a high wash. CHECK IN – Check in is now strictly 5pm this will then give us time to deep clean the barns to Covid-19. SOCIAL DISTANCING WALLINGTON FARM BARNS - Fortunately we have plenty of wide open spaces. We have some beautiful circular walks around the lanes, so you will still be able to maintain your social distance and keep to your household groups without having to interact with others. Initially we will be operating a social distance check-in and keys will be in the doors. However, rest assured we will still be completely available to you during your stay to deal with any queries/concerns. We are here to help so please contact us with any questions or suggestions.
