The “Muskie” is a charming and cozy cabin that is located on a beautiful beach with 4 other cabins. It has 3 bedrooms and a sun-porch located on Sunset Lake in Iron River, Michigan. It offers a beautiful view of the lake and is large and spacious. It has a fully furnished kitchen, one and a half baths, a gas fireplace, cable TV, and sleeps up to 8 people. The cabin is located 3 miles East of Iron River, Michigan,nestled in the pines on beautiful Sunset Lake. Come enjoy Sunset Lake and all it has to offer. We have 100 feet of beautiful sandy frontage that has a gently sloping bottom - perfect for young children! We provide a swimming raft and beach toys. Bring your own boat that you can dock at our pier (boat launch is 500 feet from the cabin), or rent a boat and/or motor in nearby Crystal Falls, MI, or Eagle River, WI. Sunset Lake has great fishing for panfish, bass, and northern. Clean your fish in our 'fish house' which has running water and a freezer for your catch. 500 feet away is also a great county park with a large playground, basketball courts, baseball field, and its own large swimming beach. A great place to let young kids unwind and explore. In the evening, enjoy a campfire in the fire pit down by the lake. After experiencing a sunset down at the lake, you will see how the lake got its name - it is absolutely spectacular!
