Casita " Las Ventanas Azules "

We called the "Casita VENTANAS AZULES" ( Blue Windows). The fotos will show you why. This apartment has a very big kitchen and a great bathroom, also the other rooms are confortable. It has two bedrooms, but I prefer to rent it only for 2 persons. All my guests had confirmed that our place is the perfect starting point to explore the North of the Island. Also my hospitality contributes that my guests feel at home at the first moment. They are informed about the system operation of the “casita, as all other data that I can give, including: supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacy, events, excursions, and… that I live just downstairs and reachable at any time, to change the bottle of gas, or the towels or just to give a tip for the programmed excursion. The garden is a oasis: Orange and Aguacate trees, oleander, chrysanthemum big cactus , lawns and many flowers and herbs. The fotos of the “casita” show that they are well looked decorated and groomed. You will enjoy the total silence. The noise is the singing of the blackbirds and the sparrows and in the morning you can listen to a cock, which cackle in the far distance. I am sure that you will enjoy your stay in Tenerife in one of the “casitas”. THE KEYS ARE ALWAYS HAND OVER TO THE GUEST. Ideal for hiker as in the surroundings there are a lot of hiking trails and the important Macizo de Anaga, the UNESCO biosphere reserve is not far away. Inspiration you get by the „Oficina de Información de Turismo” in Tegueste. They often organize excursions, mostly connected with wine and tapas tasting. If you want to enjoy extraordinary ocean natural pools you just drive 5 km to Bajamar or Punta Hidalgo, where you also can make a walk alongside the ocean until you reach San Juanito. One is overwhelmed by the sea noise and breath healthy salt air. The colonial and world cultural heritage city of La Laguna is only 8 km away and has a lot to offer. In Tacoronte, 5km away, there are many good local restaurants. We would like to give you tips. Santa Cruz, the capital of the Island is also only 15 min. away and also offers a lot of things to do: Pedestrian zone for a shopping trip, a beautiful park, the auditorium and exhibition building by the architect Calatrava, a manageable city center with many nice cafes and a large plaza developed by the architects Herzog and de Meuren. Close by are the new library and the art museum (TEA), both also designed by these famous architects.. Directly opposite is the weekly market "Nuestra Señora de Africa" and Sunday mornings there is a flea market in this area. It is worthwhile visiting and enjoying the multicultural flair. There you can find everything: every spare part, screws, underwear to real antiques. About 10 minutes from Santa Cruz is the beach "Las Teresitas". This is probably the most famous white sand beach in Tenerife - with a length of 1.5 km. Definitely worth a visit! Our valley here is very green, thanks the trade winds. (Vientos Alisios). Agricultors still grow a lot of potatoes, carrots, wine, fruit, herbs, salads and flowers and they offer their products on Saturdays and Sundays at our local market. Do not forget the goat's cheese and the unsprayed, crooked sweet bananas! Supermarkets, pharmacy, doctors, etc. can be reached by car in minutes. You will need a car for your stay here. If you land in the south (like almost all charter flights) it is about 73 km to our doorstep. Calculate a good hour of driving. Also here and in the surrounding area you need a car. Within walking distance, however, you can reach the best local fish restaurant on the island! The peace in our house is simply unaffordable, even if sometimes in the distance the cock crows. The perfect place to relax. We speak Spanish, German and English and are always ready to give you some good tips. As one says so beautifully: "With us you are in best hands." The place is very quiet, therefore we ask our guests to respect this silence. We always welcome our guests and explain the rules of the house and how to handle the electonic divises, TV-Astra, Wifi, Internet etc. Mostly there is somebody of the family at home to attend the guests with their questions or petitions. El Socorro is a little town belonging to LA VILLA DE TEGUESTE. It is an agriculture valley and not much habitated, very green. Tegueste Village offers almost everything and just beside the Plaza de San Marcos you will find the Oficina de Información y Turismo. If you book our place: YOU NEED A CAR!!! It is really worthwile to visit the NORTH of the Island. And never forget to visit LAS CAÑADAS and EL TEIDE. This explotion of nature you will never forget!!! ANAGA ......
