The cabin is a fully insulated, heated, clean, space. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, set up for two people. Parking space available on site. There is a separate entrance and key safe so you can check yourself in and come and go independently. There is a double bed, fold out table, small fridge, tv, toilet and shower room with heated towel rail. There is an electric radiator which is very efficient but not instant, so will take an hour to warm up. The cabin is compact but very comfortable. Breakfast ingredients will be provided for your first day: bread, jam, milk, cereal and juice as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Let us know if you don’t require these or if you have any special dietary requirements. The cabin is not listed as having a kitchen but does have a kettle, toaster and a single electric ring so you can make breakfast and light meals. There is also a mini fridge. All the basics (cutlery, crockery, tin and bottle opener) are there for you to use. There is space to sit outside the cabin. When you arrive you can park at the front of our house. There is room here for two cars side by side so please park with that in mind so we can also park our car there. There is a gated entrance to Cherry Tree Cabin. This is on the left hand side as you face the house and gives the cabin its own private access so you can come and go without us getting in your way. It has security lighting to help if you are arriving or returning late at night. Late arrival is not a problem, just let us know so that we can leave the cabin’s outside light on too. We are happy to answer any questions and help as needed but will otherwise leave you to it. However you are likely to see us and our dog in the garden. There are lots of good places to eat in Charlestown and the surrounding areas. St Austell Brewery is 2 to 3 mins walk and has a good lunch time snack bar and is a great place to visit. There is Wheal Martyn Clay museum, the clay trails, The Eden project, Lost Gardens of Heligan plus many local beaches and villages to visit nearby. Central location for exploring Cornwall. There is a park and a swimming pool a few minutes down the road. We have good take away and food delivery favourites to recommend. See the guidebook included here for further information and suggestions of where to go. You can read our guidebook for more information. The train station is a short walk (5 to 10 mins); St Austell is on the Paddington to Penzance direct line. Unusually for Cornwall, it's relatively easy to visit from here without a car. Short walk (10 mins) into town and to nearby supermarkets. 30 mins walk to our nearest beach: Charlestown (shown in photos). Just 3 miles to Eden; accessible via a nearby cycle track or buses including shuttle bus for Eden sessions so you can avoid the car park queue when leaving. There are loads of lovely walks around including easy access to the South West coastal footpath. We will be blocking out the cabin for 24 hours either side of all stays, to air fully and ensure safety. We will also be following Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning routines.
