Airy, within a 3 minutes walk from Stenton train station and a grocery store and a 22 minutes train trip to Center City PHILADELPHIA. This is the perfect choice for the single traveler looking to save money while getting the most of an amazing trip to the city of PHILADELPHIA.   The house layout is intended to provide privacy and comfort for my guests. The guest areas include, one private bedroom, shared full hallway bathroom and foyer with self-serve free coffee, tea and breakfast snacks plus free street parking and free internet access; in addition to the convenient location 3 minutes away from a train station, bus stop and a grocery store. The house is located in Mount Airy, the area next to Chestnut Hill. This area is a suburb of the city and it was named the "Best Big-City Neighborhood" for the Philadelphia Region in 2013 and is one of the best places to live in the U.S.A. according to CNN Money. My house is located within a 10 minute walk to downtown Mt. Airy on Germantown Avenue with a variety of shops, restaurants, bars and many more establishments. LOCATION, ACCESSIBILITY AND  PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION (SEPTA) The house location guarantees easy access to public transportation, an entire commercial corridor in Mount Airy and a quick 22 minute train trip  to downtown Philadelphia. - Walk The house is located within a 3 minute walk from Stenton train station at 6725 Vernon Road and the grocery store Grand Food Market at 6700 Sprague Street. Downtown  Mt. Airy's and it's commercial corridor are located within a 10 minute walk from the house at 7136 Germantown Avenue where there is a major grocery store and pharmacy (ACME), restaurants and bars, drycleaning, a wine store, a variety of shops and  establishments, gym, dentist's office, free library, doctor's office, beauty salons and haircuts,  a firehouse, churches, banks, a WAWA food store, coffee shops, a diner and ice-cream shop, etc. - Train Stenton train station is  located within a  3 minute walk from the house; and,  the train is the Chestnut Hill East line (SEPTA regional rail) that connects Mt Airy to downtown Philadelphia and to Philadelphia International Airport, the trip from Stenton train station to downtown Philadelphia is a 22 minutes ride. The Chestnut Hill East line will also stops at Temple University, 30th Street Station  near the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University and University City. - Bus The bus routes that make stops within walking distance to the house are  the H bus, the 18 bus and the 23 bus (SEPTA.)
