The Lake House-central, peaceful with water views

Just across the road from Lake Victoria with stunning water views and lovely sunsets. Large windows facing the lake allow you watch the wildlife enjoy the water including black swans, pelicans, and if you are lucky, lake dolphins. Within easy access to the National Park for bushwalks and a 5 minute drive to 90 Mile Beach. You’ll love the place because of the ambience, the outdoor space, the views, the beach and its peacefulness. The house is suitable for couples and families with children 5yo+. The house is two storey. There is a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and lounge area on each floor. In addition two bedrooms are located on the ground floor as well as a laundry. The main bedroom is located upstairs with its own ensuite. From this floor, there is access to a large covered deck/alfresco area. The property has three off road parking spaces with secure fencing/gate enclosing the entire property. Guests have access to the entire house as well as the backyard and deck. I do not live at the property full-time but am available to help guests via phone and email. Loch Sport is a small, peaceful town on the Gippsland Lakes that gives visitors the chance to experience the Australian outdoors and wildlife. Access to the 90 mile beach and lakes make this a perfect spot for many family friendly outdoor activities. There is a Foodworks in town that can supply basic food and drink requirements, however, it is recommended that bulk food shopping is done before arriving at Loch Sport. The local hotel serves meals as does the RSL and Bowling Club. A courtesy bus, that needs to be booked, is provided by the hotel and RSL. There is also a fish and chip shop and coffee shop. Children are catered for with a playground, skate park and mini golf as well as a golf course for golfers. Roads are safe for bicycles, scooters, skate boards etc. All amenities are within a 5 min drive or 15 mins cycle or walk. Bed linen, bath mats, hand towels and tea towels are provided, however, guests need to bring their own bath and beach towels. Due to the wet weather this year there are mosquitoes around, especially early in the morning and at night. Guests should bring mosquito repellant and wear clothes that cover arms and legs, especially at night if you decide to sit outside.
