Ringstead - B&B 2 miles to coast on Peddar's Way

A ground floor, double room with ensuite shower room/loo and lobby in a newly refurbished period Farm House on the Peddar's Way. Our home is in a rural setting on the edge of the popular, picturesque village of Ringstead, with a great pub and food 10 minutes walk away, a village shop, access to beautiful walks and all just under 2 miles from North Norfolk's spectacular coastline. A great location for rural and coastal walking, birdwatching, eating out, sightseeing or simply relaxing! The room has a double bed, 2 armchairs, a TV and tea/coffee making facilities with fresh milk, water and biscuits. The modern ensuite shower room and loo has a heated towel rail, towels and toiletries. Breakfast, served in the adjacent dining room, of tea, freshly ground coffee, cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, fruit juice and toast is included in the price. A delicious full cooked breakfast menu of local produce is available at an additional, reasonable price. The room overlooks the back garden where, when weather permits, guests may take breakfast, play petanque/boules or sit under the apple tree and watch the sun go down! Parking in private driveway Breakfast is served in the family dining room for guests' exclusive use. Jane usually works from home and both Jane and Chris will be on hand to assist with any enquiries and make recommendations with an aim to making your stay as enjoyable as possible. The popular Gin Trap pub is a 5 minute walk away and Top End is on the Peddars Way and near to some wonderful inland walks at Ringstead Downs and Courtyard Farm (see photos). Surrounding villages both coastal and inland offer a wonderful choice of beach and coastal path walks with pubs, cafes and restaurants offering a variety of cuisines. Ringstead is also well placed to explore the stately homes of Houghton Hall (10 miles) The Royal Estate of Sandringham (10 miles) and Holkham Hall (12 miles) and bird lovers are not far from RSPB reserves at Titchwell Marsh and Snettisham, the latter hosting a number of 'spectacular flight' events throughout the year. We would be delighted to advise on local walk routes, eateries, tide times etc. to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible. If you wish to switch off from driving during your stay, Top End is located 1.5 miles via the Peddars Way from the Coastliner Bus Stop at Holme-next-the-sea where you can travel by bus all along the coast from King's Lynn to Cromer. It's a great garden for the summer with use of the petanque/boules court and outdoor seating. A secure lock up garage is available to store guests' cycles Space can be made in the room to accommodate portable cots for babies or youngsters Check-in is between 4pm and 9pm but 3pm could be possible on some days so please enquire.
