Stay in our spacious, basic but comfortable ensuite family room in Myross Wood House. A double and two singles accommodate 4 guests. Set in 30 acres of woodland overlooking Glandore Harbour in the heart of West Cork, this former retreat is a peaceful, unique and magical place for tranquility, nature and relaxation, but also convenient for Leap, Union Hall, Skibbereen and beyond for restaurants, shops and leisure amenities. A great base for exploring this wonderful area on land or by water. Myross Wood House is a former religious retreat set in 30 acres of woodland and parkland. 12 of our 50 rooms are available for short stay accommodation and we have plenty of outdoor space for parking, as well as an indoor dining room for making a hot drink or eating your own food. Please note there are no cooking facilities. The rest of the building in the early stages of development as a centre for climate action and sustainability run by Green Skibbereen. Green Skibbereen is a not for profit company run mostly by volunteers and every cent we make from Airbnb goes into the development of our climate action centre. We have plenty of dedicated parking spaces. You can leave the car and walk into Leap or Union Hall for pubs and restaurants in about 10 to 15 minutes. Nearest Beach at Union Hall.
