It is located just outside the base of Snowshoe Mountain in a private residential community of SlatyFork. A 3 story duplex, the upstairs unit is 1600 sq ft with three bedrooms, three and a half baths and has every thing you need to retreat to the mountains. The lower is 1000 sq ft with two bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen and living area. There are two kitchens with dishwasher, microwave, fridge, stove/oven, dining area, gas grille, gas fireplace, wrap around deck and hot tub. This beautiful home is only 3 miles from the base of Snowshoe Mountain entrance. The upstairs duplex accommodates up to ten guests and has it's own private entrance and keypad entrance for convenience. The downstairs unit accommodates up to 4 guests, and has it's own private entrance and keypad entrance. The upper and lower units are accessible to each other from inside the home. Our home is located just below a 10,000 acre national park, so prepare for quiet and beautiful wildlife. All-wheel drive or four wheel drive is highly recommended during snowy conditions. The gravel driveway and community road is plowed however can still remain snowy during periods of bad weather. Relax in this quiet setting with sounds of the river flowing beneath you at the entrance of Slatyfork. Sharps Cave is within walking distance for the Spelunkers at heart. Cell signal is intermittent in this entire region of the Snowshoe area but stronger with AT&T. To assist with the regions limited cellular signal we have installed a cell phone booster on the home but again please be advised cellular service for the entire area is very limited.
