Located in quiet residential village in Lundin Links, 12 miles from St Andrews with other golf courses within 30mins drive. Ideal for couple, professional and people with mobility problems. Single story straight access from street. Convenient bus services from Edinburgh and to St Andrews, just a few minutes walk to Lower Largo, pubs, the village shop, a renowned hotel/restaurants, harbour and beach. Known as the East Neuk, walk the Fife Coastal Path from the village. Fife is the home of golf with a huge choice of courses nearby. This is an ideal base for enjoying the beach and sea air, relaxing amidst the quiet pace of village life. Village barker/butcher, a cafe, hotel and famous Blacketyside farm shop are walking distance. A half hour relaxing walk will take you to the real Robinson Crusoe, Alexander Selkirk's birth place in Lower largo. Dundee, Perth and Edinburgh are all within 1 hour drive. I and my husband Simon will welcome you. You will have straight access from street to back bedroom, its quit and keep private space. The continental breakfast will be provided as self service. The room itself faces into the back garden, very quiet as it is off the main street sometimes you can only you can hear bird song. Located very near the coast 5 minutes walk to the beach and you can walk along the beach to Leven or along the Golf course weather permitting. There are 2 Golf courses a small row of shops including a Butchers Newsagents and Interior design/ladies fashion shops. A short walk 25mins will get you to the Blacketyside FARM SHOP where you can buy lots of produce including seasonal fruit and there is also a cafe on the premises where you can sit outside in a sheltered space. Also visit Largo/Lower Largo harbour and beaches the statue of Robinson Crusoe. Take a drink at the Railway Inn or Crusoe Hotel or grab an ice cream in the Largo Newsagent. A bus stop to East Neuk coastal villages and St Andrews. Buses to Edinburgh and Dundee from Lundin Links and Leven bus Station. Lundin Links bus stops are just 2 minutes walk. Usually plenty space for street parking (currently road works so you may need to park on another street August/Sept 2021), nearest railway station is Markinch or Cupar 15 minutes drive with plenty parking space.
