**Cottage within walking distance of pub and sea**

The cottage is only a minute's walk from the village pub and three minutes' walk from picturesque Chichester Harbour. It is approx. a 90 minute drive from London. The cottage is set back within a large mature garden with a pond. There is ample parking on the drive. Guests have access to the whole of the property and gardens with the exception of the double garage. The village has a strong sailing and boating scene as it's one of the few all tides boat launch areas. There is a village pub in a minute's walk from the house and a coffee shop three minute's walk from the house. The nearest shops are in East Wittering, a 5 minute drive. The Blue flag awarded beach of West Wittering is a 5 minute drive. Although public transport does serve the village it is very limited so cars are recommended. Once arrived there are plenty of routes for exploring by bike, foot or boat. The village is usually very quiet at night so outdoor noise should be kept to a minimum due to the proximity of the neighbours. Oldfield Cottage should not be confused with Oldfield House, a larger property next door which is also available for short term rentals. No pets.
