Room Number Two
Beautiful boutique studio accomodation minutes from the village. Room Number Two is a private guest suite and en-suite. It has gorgeous sun and relaxing views overlooking lush green countryside. We provide tea, coffee and muesli. There is a small fridge to keep your market goodies chilled. You’ll have your own private access, car park, a lovely bathroom, SkyTV and WIFI. You’ll also have your own seated outside area which catches the late afternoon sun, this is a lovely place to relax and unwind. Room Number Two is a beautifully decorated studio, with everything you need for a short stay in Matakana. We have a King size sleepyhead bed with beautiful fresh linen. The room overlooks the Matakana countryside. A light breakfast of muesli, coffee & tea is supplied. Please note there are no cooking facilities, however the village is a short walk away through a short cut and has many lovely restaurants and bars to dine in. We have supplied a wooden platter, a fridge, plates and wine glasses so that you can enjoy the lovely local produce. Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. We are using the highest wash temperatures for all Linen and towels including mattress protectors and duvet covers. You’re own secluded space...the studio is attached to our home but separated with no access to our areas and home, your own outdoor seating area, car park, private bathroom and bedroom Here if you need me....I do enjoy meeting new people, but I won’t be in your face. There is a short cut into the Matakana’s beautiful rural village, which has many restaurants, a bustling weekend market and is the gateway to some of Auckland’s most gorgeous beaches, marine reserves and wineries such as Omaha, Ti Point, Goat Island, Pakiri, Kawau Island and Tawharanui Peninsular to name a few. Matakana is a safe and lovely village and a wonderful place for a few nights away. The beaches and surrounding areas offer some of NZ’s best spots for fishing, diving, snorkelling, surfing and golfing, and for those who love food, wine and craft beer, The Matakana region offers some of Auckland’s best vineyards, breweries and restaurants. There are fantastic galleries and sculpture walks...Matakana has something for everyone! 10 minute walk into the village of Matakana. 2 minute drive. 10 minutes to Omaha beach and other beaches and vineyards. There is a small cocker spaniel on the property but not in your space I do leave for work early in the morning. Always available if you need a hand however via phone or text Please note there is a small step into the room - otherwise access is flat. Travel cot available upon request
