Great cottage for friends or family, steps from the beach, in beautiful Fair Harbor, Fire Island. (Please note when booking. Our calendar is currently updated and shows our only available weeks. The cottage has everything you need for a great vacation with family or friends (WiFi, dishwasher, washer/dryer, satellite tv). There is a private deck, an outdoor shower (in addition to a regular indoor shower), a barbecue grill, beach chairs, etc. We are always a call or text away, but the house is yours to enjoy in privacy. Fire island is a beautiful barrier island with no cars, friendly people, and a relaxed atmosphere. Take the ferry boat there and leave the world behind! The ferry is easily accessed by car or train. The house is just steps away from the beautiful ocean beach in Fair Harbor, Fire Island. Another beach, with a calm bay perfect for young children, is two blocks away. Go car-free in Fire Island! We provide some very basic bicycles for exploring. Please note that although a window A/C is pictured, the house is not air-conditioned (we removed the A/C unit because we prefer the ocean breezes).
