Sunny second floor close to beach and center

Sunny second floor in our house with shared entrance and staircases in beautiful corner house in a quiet green neighborhood. Perfect location if you want to combine culture, beach, shopping, museums, amusement parks and festivals. The city is 15 min. by bus. The dunes start around the corner (300meter) and the beach is a 10 to 15 minutes stroll. Shops and restaurants at walking distance (400 meter). Parking is for free in our neighborhood. Sunny second floor, with three rooms: living room, bedroom, kitchen and own bathroom. In the living room the comfortable couch can be changed into a double bed. The apartment is located on the second floor of our house with a shared entrance and staircase. The second floor does not have it's own entrance. Nearby is the beach. For nature lovers a nudist beach is also on walking distance. A shopping area with restaurants and super markets are around the corner. Hop on a bicycle and enjoy the beautiful nature along the coast and bike to Noordwijk or Hoek van Holland. The entire second floor is yours. It can be reached by the shared staircase. Our private area is the ground floor and the first floor. On the top floor (the 3rd floor) is another room we only use for drying the laundry. You also can hang your laundry there. In your bath room is a washing machine you can use for 2.50. It is for mutual use. The use of the back garden is shared with the owner and on request. Front garden is for private use guests. A collection of books, maps and leaflets about the Hague are present. Your hosts Karel and Els are more than willing to help you out and provide you with information about things to see and do. Use of the washing machine (2.50 euro's) is possible. A private qualified surf teacher or a guide can be arranged if you want to have surf lessons or if you would like to know all about the architecture and history of the Hague. Bus 24 stops in front of our house which will bring you in 15/20 minutes to musea, city center and the CS. Beach and nudist beach are nearby. Beach club the Kwartel is a 15 minutes walk and marvellous place to sit in the sun, Have breakfast, lunch or dinner and enjoy the sunset. Next beach club is the Fuut,another lovely place with live jazz music and all kind of cultural activities. In the summer lots of festivals in Kijkduin, Scheveningen and the Hague. Zwarte Pad Scheveningen has a dance scene with lots of clubs. Het plein has nice pubs and disco-clubs. De Grote Markt is a nice square to have a drink. Club "Roots" and "het Paard van Troje" are nearby and popular under young people. Moreover lots of activities are organized in the beach clubs at walking distance. Lots of restaurants, bakeries, supermarket and shops around the corner (5 minutes). Private walking tours through the city with lots of info on history and history can be arranged as well as private surfing lessons by certified surf-instructor. In the second harbour of Scheveningen (5 minutes by car, free parking) you can have the best fish in town at Simones (two different restaurant: an expensive one and a cheaper more canteen-like one (same quality of fish). Even closer is "het Zuiderstrand theater" A huge theatre with a lot of choice. (Home of the residentie orkest, classical music) Fun is also to go to Kijkduin (10 minutes by bike or bus, 2 km) A lot of nice restaurants with sea-view. Free parking in front of the house and in the neighbourhood. Pick up service from Central Station or airport is possible on request. Bus 24, busstop Kwartellaan is in front of our house. The bus leaves every 15 minutes from the Central Station (direction Kijkduin). Traveling around in the Hague by tram and bus is very convenient and not too expensive. Nearby you can buy a pass for the public transportation which is much cheaper than buying in the bus itself. During the night you have to rely on taxies (15-20 euro from center to town) or use your own car. Parking in a Parking garage or on the road in the center cost at least 1.70 or more per hour. Sightseeing in the Hague by bike is great fun. However you should have experience in biking in a big city in order to do it safe. Dutch drivers and cyclist do not always stick to the traffic rules. Exploring the dunes and beaches by bike is also a splendid possibility to move around. A lot of people also like to walk or jog in the dunes. Addresses of bike rentals are available. If you bring your own bike, it can be stored safely in our back garden The washing machine is standing on the second floor. In high season, we are not always able to wash between bookings. Therefore we will ask you when it is a convenient moment to use the washing machine. For example when you are to the beach. We try to avoid as much as we can to use it when you are around. We try to respect your privacy as much as possible. The sleeping couch in the living room is very comfy with a 17 cm thick mattrass. The size is 140 x 200. If you have to sleep on it with two tall adults( longer than 190 cm) , it might be a little bit cramped. The double bed in the sleeping room is large (2.10 x 1.60) with two separated mattrasses. We would appreciate it if you take off your shoes before going upstairs. We expect guests to leave the apartment neatly behind. It is forbidden te smoke in the house. In front of the house in the garden is a place to sit down if you want to smoke
