The Zenrise

Set on a hillside facing the sunrise, in a lovely thicket of trees our modern villa is truly a place of peace and harmony. All of our rooms are air-conditioned with attached spacious bathrooms and comes with all modern amenities. A landscaped garden, shaded swimming pool, study, full kitchen, outdoor bbq area, and other features will make sure you will have an amazing stay at the Zenrise. Our resident manager can arrange for any of your requests. Wake up to the first rays of the sunrise crawling in through the mist to enjoy a truly spectacular morning. Take a dip in the pool, enjoy a scrumptious breakfast by the garden accompanied by cheery bird songs. The Zenrise is perfect for unwinding, practicing your yoga or meditation or plonking by the TV to binge on some Netflix series. You are able to enjoy all parts of the property except for the staff quarters, staff kitchen and storage areas. I'm available on phone and email as well. Our resident manager is available at all times. Just 40mins away from both the Airport and Central Colombo, our location is close to the city yet far enough to feel like you are at a country holiday villa. We are 5 mins away from the main high-way entrance as well as the Colombo-Kandy road, both giving access to many tourist hotspots in the country. Our location will save you at least an hour of travel time compared to staying in a city hotel in Colombo. Getting around the locality is easy, our caretaker will arrange for tuk-tuks or it's easy to get an Uber. Public transport via bus is available with 2 min walk. On-site covered parking is available is also available. The ZenRise is a SLTDA (Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority) approved Villa and follows national guidelines and standards. If you are visiting Sri Lanka, you may use a confirmed booking at the ZenRise to support your Visa application as it requires visitors to have confirmed SLTDA approved accommodation. The Govt. also requires all hosts to maintain a guest book for both local and international visitors. Therefore you will need to provide your government issued Identification documents and contact details at check-in time.
